Scott Arford has worked in the Bay Area since 1991. In this time he has completed projects for a variety of construction
and building types. He has experience with recording facilities, dental offices, office tenant improvement, restaurants and hospitality, commercial retail, residential and custom homes.

WORK EXPERIENCE

EHDD Architecture. Present. Project Architect.


Winder Architects. June 2001 - 2006. Project Architect.

Project architect for various projects with a strong emphasis on projects requiring specialized technical skills - audio recording studios, dental offices, and large scale public artworks.

Selected projects:
Recombinant Media Labs, San Francisco, CA. This 5000 sq. ft. audio / video production facilities is the new nerve center for this internationally known record label.
Lakside Pediatric Dental, San Francisco, CA. 1200 sq. ft. dental office provides a new home for this popular children's dental office.
Blue Bridge, San Francisco, CA. Comprised of 20 etched glass panels in three shades of blue, this public art project symbolically ties together two very different neighborhoods via the Fillmore Bridge as it crosses Geary Street.
Red House, Tacoma, WA. This delicate wood frame and ruby red glass sculpture was commissioned specifically for the opening of Tacoma's new Museum of Glass.
1201 California, San Francisco, CA. Garage and employee space remodel of this beautiful 1929 landmark apartment building.


Michael Zucker and Associates. March 1997 – July 2000. Junior Architect.

Completed 20+ projects with a focus on design development, production, and construction documents for a wide variety of architectural and interior projects.

Selected projects:
DDB, San Francisco, CA. 5000 sq.ft. office space on Maiden Lane for this internationally recognized design firm. In addition to the general tenant improvements, a custom furniture system was developed to integrate with their work group configuration.
Northwest Airlines, San Francisco, CA. 2200 sq.ft. International Club business lounge located in the International Terminal of the San Francisco International Airport.
Chase Capital Finance, San Francisco, CA. 3000 sq. ft. downtown office space for the venture capital department of Chase Bank. The project featured extensive custom wood millwork, furniture, and decorative wall panels.
Pasta Pomodoro, Mill Valley, CA. New restaurant and dining facilities for this successful food chain.
Baker and McKenzie, Palo Alto, CA. Completed several ongoing additions for this law firm including a new 2000 sq. ft. addition to their existing office.
Hendrick Automotive, Pleasanton, CA. Completed a major addition / renovation to two showroom and service buildings at their Pleasanton headquarters.


Gordon Johnson, Architect. March 1995 - March 1997. Junior Architect.

Completed several interior and tenant improvement projects. Production, construction documents, and design development.

Glendale Federal Bank, Pleasanton, CA. Interior remodel.
New Chinese Radio, San Francisco, CA. New recording and broadcasting facilities for this small radio station.
Northwest Airlines, San Francisco, CA. New storage/ warehouse building at the San Francisco International Airport.
